Thank you to the Mayor for making the Food bank one of his Charities

On Monday, Ian Morris, one of the Food Bank’s regular volunteers, was presented with a cheque for £1245.00 by Tudor Thomas, Mayor of Abergavenny, as he came to the end of his term in office.  Mr Thomas had kindly nominated the Foodbank as one of the Mayor’s charities for his year in the role.  The generous donation will help us to maintain our food stocks as demand for food parcels has increased this year.  We are very grateful to the Mr Thomas for his support for the Food Bank during his time as Mayor.
