Covid Regulations – Return to delivery model of operation

Due to the changes in the covid regulations in Wales, the Abergavenny Foodbank will return to the delivery model of operation from Wednesday 29th December 2021.  This means that clients will need to be referred for a food parcel by their support worker, which will then be packed and delivered to them on either Tuesday afternoon or Friday lunchtime/early afternoon.  We regret this change back to delivering food parcels as it has been much nicer to be able to chat to people when they come in to collect their food parcel.  We hope to be able to return to the collection model as soon as regulations allow.  However, it is important to keep our clients and volunteers safe, and delivering food parcels limits the number of people in the Foodbank at any time.
