A big thank you to everyone who has given their Harvest Festival Collection to the Abergavenny Foodbank. The total Harvest Collection for 2021 was 1550.1kg – that is over a tonne and a half of food which will go to people in Abergavenny and the surrounding area over the coming months. By the end of the summer, some of our shelves were starting to look a bit bare, but they are now completely full and we have had to store some crates of food in an additional room! We usually give out a bit more food than we get in each month, and so the Harvest Festival is like the camel’s hump that we then use up over the rest of the year. Some places opted for a financial collection, and this money will be used to buy fresh fruit over the coming months to go in the food parcels.
So – I hope I have not missed anywhere out – thank you to:

We are so grateful to you all, and to everyone who donates to us regularly over the year. Without you, we would not be able to support people in Abergavenny and the surrounding area.
Here is the Raglan Primary School, with their wonderful display of food, and some of their fantastic Community Connectors from Year 2.
